Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Rotbart graduated with honors from Bradley University with a degree in Publicity/Public Relations. She began her career as Marketing/Public Relations Director at the Carousel theatre in Akron, Ohio, where she subsequently met the reknowned Phyllis Diller. This legendary comic invited Rotbart to move to Hollywood and work with her as her tour coordinator. Rotbart had the honour of working with such legends as Bob Hope, Cher, Milton Berle, Diana Ross, Dolly Parton, Lucille Ball, and the list goes on.

Immediately after working with Diller, Rotbart formed Heidi Rotbart Management. The company specialized in comedy, representing many of the most well known stand-up comics, but eventually branched out into all areas of television, film and theatre including developing television and film projects for their clients.

Using her vast marketing background, Rotbart was approached to utilize her skills to analyze and promote a multi-million dollar corporate facility. Her success rate was so high that she was frequently sought after to market some of the most prestigious institutions in Southern California.

Rotbart then became a Partner at Kamens, Kubik and Rotbart Entertainment - a personal management and production company and was responsible for building a very successful comedy division with over 25 of the top stand-up comics on its roster. She placed all of these comics in regular roles on television series, late night talk shows, and various other primetime specials.

Directly following her partnership with Kamens, and Kubik, she became Partner and President at Silverlight Entertainment, where she moved her television division over to the Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank, California. Rotbart had the only management/production company with an overall producing deal at a major studio specifically creating Latino themed television programming.

Although Rotbart's Hollywood training began working with Phyllis Diller, she has continued to work with the comedy legend in developing and producing Diller's soon to be released big screen feature film.
